Sofia Vergara earned some brownie points this weekend.

On Sunday, the Modern Family star braved the Massachusetts cold to attend the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots game as both teams vied for a spot at the 2017 Super Bowl.

“#HereWeGo #thegoodwife,” she jokingly captioned a picture of herself bundled up in a puffy Steelers jacket and striped scarf, looking a little less than enthused.

Her Steelers superfan hubby Joe Manganiello, meanwhile, was fired up for the big game, taking to Instagram to share photos of him, his brother and some pals decked out in their team’s gear.

Stars: Sarah Hyland, Justin Chon, Clara Mamet, Anthony Carrigan, Steven Krueger, Sophie Dalah, Marc Barnes, Stevin Knight | Written by Anthony Jaswinski | Directed by Jeffrey G. Hunt

So we have a bunch of teens, most of whom are stoners, some are goths, some are jocks; messing with ouija boards and thinking that satanic tourism is “cool”, who stumble into real satanic goings-on. Plus there’s a blink-or-you’ll-miss-it cameo from modern-day scream queen Devanny Pinn (Truth or Dare, House of Manson). That in a nutshell is Satanic.

As for an actual plot, the film sees four friends on their way to Coachella stop off in Los Angeles to tour true-crime Satanic Panic-era sites, only to find themselves interrupting an apparent human sacrifice. They save the young victim, but she turns out to be much more than dangerous then the cult from which she escaped, unleashing an evil spirit who will hunt »

Here’s Why ABC’s Talking-Dog TV Show Belongs At the Sundance Film Festival

20 January 2017 9:46 AM, PST | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

When Legendary Television executives decided to submit “Downward Dog” at Sundance, executive producer Samm Hodges laughed. On paper, a network show about a talking dog doesn’t sound like Sundance fare.

The ABC canine comedy follows Martin, a dog suffering from ennui and a bit of depression as he ruminates about his relationship with his owner, Nan (Allison Tolman). The twist: Martin narrates his life and speaks to the camera, but doesn’t actually interact with the show’s characters.

“It’s not the kind of thing that’s going to quickly going to be considered the best show ever,” Hodges said. “It’s a low-concept premise. And so I didn’t think we had any chance at all. When we got in, I was really shocked.”

But Legendary Television president Lauren Whitney said the production company gave it a shot because its unusual premise was “ambitious, independent, and brilliant — long the hallmarks of Sundance. »

TV Ratings: People’s Choice Awards Sag, ‘Speechless’ Wins

19 January 2017 10:08 AM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

CBS’ People’s Choice Awards brought in some fresh hosting blood with Joel McHale on Wednesday night, but that wasn’t enough to prop up the ailing awards show. The telecast brought in a 1.2 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and 6.66 million viewers, a low in the demo. That said, it did build on its “Undercover Boss” lead-in, which drew a 1.1 in the demo and 5.86 million viewers.

ABC tried out “Fresh Off the Boat” in the Wednesday anchor spot usually held by “The Goldbergs,” to reasonable success. While it didn’t quite reach the same level as “The Goldbergs,” “Fresh Off” pulled in a 1.5 in the demo and 5.48 million viewers, well above what it’s been drawing on Tuesdays. “Speechless” proved its mettle by drawing a slightly higher demo rating, a 1.6, and just a few fewer viewers, with 5.36 million — the highest demo rating of the night. Following a “Modern Family” repeat, “Black-ish »

Ariel Winter admits that she "had a hard time finding confidence" as she grew into a young woman while on Modern Family -- but that's all changed.

The 18-year-old actress poses topless in unretouched photos for Self, and opens up about how she came to accept her curves.

Self

"Growing up in the spotlight was quite possibly the worst for my self-esteem," she says. "When I started [Modern Family], I had a completely different body than what happened overnight at 12 years old. I was stick thin, I had no chest, I had no butt -- I had nothing. I was totally flat, and I was so sad about it. Then automatically, overnight, my body changed drastically. I was a D cup and had a bigger butt, and my waist was expanding. Everything was getting bigger. I automatically got this hate and judgment online."
