Michael refuses to 'play ball' with 'agent of secret agents' Tom Strickler, who offers to mediates in order to get him back into lucrative work. Sam helps him find out that the Ukrainian 'would be' client's contact is arrogant Miami businessman John Beck. While Michael meets him unsuccessfully, both are attacked by the goons of Weston's Cold War enemy Pyotr Chechik.
