The Boob-A-Tron 6000, that Abed and Troy have in season one, episode twenty-two, "The Art of Discourse", appears "alive" in a flashback of Annie (Allison Brie) and Jeff (Joel McHale) in season two, episode twenty-one, "Paradigms of Human Memory". This references the conversation between Abed and Troy in "The Art of Discourse", where Abed says that the Boob-A-Tron will come to life when bong water is spilled on its circuitry. See more
Throughout the series, it is established that Shirley is a "Baptist" (general, but enough info); however, in various episodes she does the Catholic "Sign of the Cross" (signum crucis). If she were a baptist (any variation) this would not be a ritual of her faith. However, there isn't any prohibition about making the Sign, either, if she happened to feel like doing it. See more
