Sex & Nudity

  • An armless and emaciated woman is disrobed and shown to a man. Her breasts are clearly visible, but the scene is not sexual. It is said that the same woman was kept as a "plaything." This scene is distressing and disturbing.
  • A child is shown completely naked and urinating. It is not sexual, just showing everyday village life. His penis is visible.
  • A man is shown admiring the penis of another man. A man than does it to another man who is shown screaming in pain. Very short scene, no nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • In two separate scenes, two men commit the ceremonial act of suicide by stabbing themselves in the stomach with a blade. The actual cuts are not shown but the sounds of the blade cutting flesh are vivid and graphic.
  • There are many, many scenes and instances of sword violence and death by arrows, explosions, fire, etc. Blood is shown, but it's all often hard to see due to the quick editing.
  • A family including a young child is shown tied up and then executed by arrows. Very graphic and disturbing
