Akshay Kumar pays tribute to Legendary Musical Maestro R.D. Burman in Khiladi 786

Action hero Akshay Kumar will show his softer side in new film Khiladi 786 with a special tribute to legendary musician of the century R.D. Burman in the form of the upbeat track ‘Balma’.

R.D. Burman was an Indian film score composer, who is considered one of the seminal music directors of the Indian film industry. Pancham da as he was fondly referred to by industry insiders, served as an influence to the next generation of Indian music directors, and his songs continue to be popular in India even after his death.

The song ‘Balma’ in Khiladi 786 is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and sung by Sreeram and Shreya Ghoshal. Cinemagoers will notice the iconic R.D. Rohit Shetty to blow up 20 cars for Singham

Bollywood director Rohit Shetty, known for his flair for comedy, has decided to blow up 20 cars for the opening sequence of his upcoming 'Singham' as he does not want to compromise on high-octane action scenes. 'The scene is set in a parking lot where a kidnapping takes place. It is a chase scene between Ajay (Devgn) and some gangsters for which we will require to blow up cars. In the shot, there will be about 200 cars out of which we will blow up 20 cars,' Shetty said in a press statement. The movie is a remake of a Tamil action film of the same name. Shetty, who has made movies like 'Sunday', the 'Golmaal' series and 'All the Best: Fun Begins', is quite charged up and has decided to himself conceptualise, design and execute the action for the film. Produced by Reliance Pictures, the film also features southern actress Kajal Aggarwal.

The only person who's worked harder in the Filipino film industry over the past three years than director Adolfo Alix Jr., who's made 11 features since 2006, is his leading lady Anita Linda, who has made 13 in the same time and plays the title role in this minimalist mood piece as stand-in for an entire nation's embittered resilience.
