Lovely as ever, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse starlet Ashley Greene made her way to the premiere of Sherlock Holmes yesterday in New York. Sherlock Holmes stars Robert Downey, Jr., Rachel McAdams, and Jude Law, and apparently Greene was very pleased with the film because she tweeted about it last night. I was just in awe watching Robert Downey Jr act in Sherlock Holmes. Everyone needs to watch this film!! So good! According to one source, Greene was in attendance of the screening with Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr. Greene's got a couple of new movies of her own coming out - aside from next summer's The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - including Skateland and The Apparition »
It's terribly obvious that the cast of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse are off to what is, for most of them, a good start in their careers as thespians. Ashley Greene, for one, has been raking in the role opportunities ever since becoming Alice Cullen for the Twilight series, and she recently talked to USA Today about what she has coming up. In the interview, she discussed the fact that she will appear in 2010's Skateland, saying "I look just like my mother." She also discussed her forthcoming work on The Apparition, saying tha »
Bucking the trend of updating the masses via Twitter, Todd Lincoln has instead opted to communicate via Facebook, where he provided an update on the status of The Apparition, which he's writing and directing for Joel Silver's Dark Castle.
Lincoln wrote the following as his most recent Facebook update: "in Berlin prepping The Apparition. Love my crew. We're building our sets on the same stage that Polanski recently shot on and that Fritz Lang shot Metropolis."
Now that's some heady history there! The Studio Babelsberg, located in Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany, is the oldest large-scale film studio in the world. Founded in 1911, it covers an area of about 270,000 square feet.
Last we heard, Dark Castle was shooting for a February 1, 2010, start date so things appear to be on track. The Apparition, which is inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence that's unleashed during a college experiment. »

Things are moving fast on The Apparition , Dark Castle's upcoming spookshow about a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence in the wake of a college experiment. Ashley Greene joined the cast in the last few months and now writer-director Todd Lincoln has presented an update by way of his Facebook page: "In Berlin prepping The Apparition . Love my crew. We're building our sets on the same stage that Polanski recently shot on and that Fritz Lang shot Metropolis ." That must mean he's shooting in Studio Babelsberg which has been around since 1911. It's great to see this project is finally moving along, especially after the tedious journey Lincoln had on the Hack/Slash film which he departed. But from what I'm hearing, The Apparition was a good ship to »
Greene, 22, plays vampire Alice Cullen (adoptive sister of Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen) in the Twilight films. Breaking Dawn will be based on the fourth and final teen romance novel in Stephenie Meyer's series.
"The only thing is, Breaking Dawn is a very large book so it would be a really long movie. We're thinking they might decide to split it into two parts, like they did with Harry Potter."
Speaking to Rotten Tomatoes, she added: "Either way, we need to get on with shooting them because, unlike Harry Potter, vampires don't age. »

At last weekend’s press junket for Ninja Assassin, I had the opportunity to speak with producer Joel Silver twice. The first time was an exclusive TV interview, and the second time was during a roundtable interview the following day. While I normally would be happy to use just one of the interviews, since Joel Silver is producing so many high profile projects (Lobo, Sgt. Rock, The Apparition), I knew getting to speak with him twice would be a good thing.
Also, what a lot of people don’t realize is how much info a producer can tell you. While it’s always great to talk with an actor, unless you’re a Brad Pitt, most actors don’t have that much juice to get a project made. So that’s why getting to speak with Joel Silver is so great, because not only can he talk about all his projects that are getting made, »

Like many of the undead killers Cassie Hack has had to take down in Devil's Due Publishing's comic book series "Hack/Slash," Rogue Pictures' big screen incarnation refuses to die in development. Stephen Susco ( Red , The Grudge ) is the latest writer to hop aboard the property. He comes on the heels of Justin Marks, Todd Lincoln, Ben Magid and Martin Schenk. Lincoln was the first named attached and he was scheduled to direct until he stepped away to direct The Apparition for Dark Castle. Shock was able to confirm Susco's involvement, however, he was not available to comment about his take on the project and whether or not he was starting from scratch or simply revising the script that's currently out there. Hack/Slash centers on the aforementioned Cassie »

Ashley Greene's cinematic path hasn't been gradual. It all started with a couple one-ep stints on a few shows, a gig on a quickly vaporized show called Desire, time as a McDonald's customer in King of California, an uncredited moment on Shark, and playing Kim #4 in Otis. Then everything changed. She put on the superstylish clothes, added a pixie hop to her step, and starting divining the future on the Twilight series. Now she's got a handful of movies under her belt, and is circling her next starring gig.

Unlike the kids of the Harry Potter franchise, it.s becoming apparent that the actors in the Twilight series may have careers outside of playing vampires. Men, if you find yourself forced into watching “Twilight” or “New Moon”, don’t panic. There is a way to survive. Be on the lookout for Ashley Greene, who plays some vampire lady, I wasn’t really paying attention because her character is not the point. The point is Ashley Greene is jaw-droppingly attractive and every time the camera looks at her the suffering momentarily ends. She is the life-saver which you must cling to for dear life. At the end of it all, you will thank the gods and the casting director for putting her in that franchise.
Today we have news that she’ll be starring in Dark Castle’s upcoming horror movie “The Apparition”, which means you won’t spend time between scenes praying she’ll show up. You just get to gaze upon her and let your adulation creep out others around you. Hit the jump to go Greene. »

So what’s so noteworthy about Todd Lincoln new horror movie? Um, not the premise. That sounds pretty generic. There’s no real big names attached, so that probably means a quick direct-to-dvd delivery. But it’s kinda noteworthy because it’s set to star Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” movies, and hopefully this is a good excuse to nab some of those “Twilight” fans trolling the Internet for “Twilight” news. Hey, you think I’ve written “Twilight” enough times? “Twilight”. Ahem. So, the Ashley Greene news. The actress is currently in negotiations to star in a new supernatural horror movie called “The Apparition”. Greene will play the female half of a couple who are haunted by a supernatural presence that is unleashed during a college experiment. Now when they say “experiment” I’m guessing they don’t mean what we think of when we »
Ashley Greene's next piece of non-Twilight work might just be Todd Lincoln's The Apparition, according to a recent Variety report. Apparently, Greene is in talks to star in the thriller film, and, if she does join the cast, she'll be starting in February. The film is to be written and directed by Lincoln, and, according to Variety, it "centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment." If slated for the project, it certainly wouldn't be the first time she starred in a horror genre picture. In fact, her film Summer's Blood only recently made its way to DVD. In that film, Greene portrayed the victim of a kidnapping by a deran »
