Prison scares
5 September 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Pete and Myka visit a creepy prison where suicides have dramatically increased. Trying to find an artifact that is causing these unexpected deaths proves much more difficult than usual. Meanwhile, Claudia does something extremely foolish back at the warehouse, which in fact may cause the whole place to collapse in on itself. It's up to Artie to save the day. The prison scenes are a little spooky, but nothing a mature kid couldn't handle. Naturally, a storm comes up while Pete and Myka are conducting their investigation, and the scene occasionally shifts to a long shot of a patently fake prison exterior with the storm swirling overhead. Pete and Myka both have hallucinations about dead loved ones in this episode, hence the title. Joe Morton of EUREKA guest-stars as a jailhouse minister. Last week, two folks from EUREKA, only one of whom I recognized, guest-starred. I guess we're seeing a trend here. All in all, not a bad episode.
