Trivia

Artie explains that the ear piercing glass was a Globlet of Severan made for "the Emperor Elagabalus, who was a ridiculously incompetent young man". Elagabalus was not so much incompetent as totally debauched, bug-nuts crazy, and homicidally cruel. Many historians regard him as worse than Nero and Caligula combined. See more »

The hunt for McPherson goes on, as the renegade warehouse agent plans an auction of stolen warehouse items. Since McPherson was at some point in his incarceration rendered incapable of entering the warehouse, the question arises, how is he obtaining warehouse items? Suspicion falls on Claudia. We get to see several warehouse items in action, including a glass goblet that renders its victims deaf and a medallion that renders one impervious to fire. The ending is a shocker and a cliffhanger, and it turns out McPherson indeed has a confederate within the warehouse. But is it Claudia? Better than the last couple of episodes, but as a villain, McPherson is about as dangerous and interesting as watching paint dry. He reminds me of the Gravedigger on BONES. After awhile, who cares?
