"I've been trying to find a way to tell you.I am so sorry."
There's a few cringeworthy moments of writing and direction here, namely Shelley's calm-before-the-storm outburst at Rhys and the way it goes into slow motion after Dylan leaves Kirsty alone. But otherwise things progress well.Rhys seems a bit dimwitted here but that's not unusual and the way he looks left out as Shelley and Jade comfort Kirsty is nicely played.Paula Forrest puts in a good performance in the scene where Shelley tells Kirsty and Jade about Rhys' infidelity.
Dylan is forced to end his relationship with Kirsty but is unable to tell her why, leaving him looking like the bad guy.Angie is soon able to talk him round and seems to end the episode on top of the situation.
The other plot line sneaks into the last part of the episode as Jesse and Hayley get a grilling from Carter. The way the charges are dropped is rather convenient but it's used to emphasise their loyalty to each other so works well.
