Storyline
Brenda and the team investigate the shooting death of Reggie Gray, a gardener who worked at a community center run by Father Jack, with whom Brenda had previously had dealings. The shooting is peculiar in many ways. Reggie was a reformed gang member, having served his time and from all accounts was on the straight and narrow. There are no gun casings at the scene and no one nearby claims to have heard any shots. The neighborhood is dominated by four gangs and Reggie and recently painted over some gang graffiti but that turns out to be a dead end. They get a break in the case when a gas station attendant reports a s confrontation between two gang members and the the owner of a luxury car. Written by

Goofs
When Lt. Tao uses the green laser, he holds the device in his hand, yet the trajectory and the point where it hits a window or wall are shown to be rock-steady. In reality the laser would wobble uncontrollably, which suggests that the beam was painted-in in post-production. Also, it is doubtful that such a laser would scatter enough light to be visible as a bright beam in the LA night air.
