Undercover in a nighty.

Hobbo, Entwistle and Alvin offer to hemp old friend Heptonstall, by burying his ferret.

This did have some rather funny moments, I rather enjoyed this, for a later episode, this was pretty funny. Good old fashioned slapstick humour here, if you ever ponder the question, how much fun can you have with a dead ferret, you'll find out here.

Is this the first time we see Pearl genuinely happy with something Howard has done, it may just be, it was a very funny scene, however best of all, the scene with the bride, that did make me laugh.

This was pretty funny, 7/10.

A box of delights

The title Goodnight Sweet Ferret makes you think that one of Compo's old ferret has bitten the dust.

In fact the late ferret belongs to old Heptonstall. His mood is foul as he has a bad leg, his wife has shoved him into the shed and his ferret has died.

Heppy wants Hobbo to give it a decent burial in the churchyard. It's been in the freezer for the last 10 days in a potato waffle box.

A better episode in the last days of Last of the Summer Wine. There is some bittersweet reflections from Glenda and Stella about their husbands. PC Cooper mistaking Haiti for a nightie.

Hobbo, Alvin & Entwistle first steal the wrong potato waffle box. They then put it on a chocolate box only for Howard to take it as a last minute present for Pearl's birthday.

Given how the episode ends, I was surprised that the box of chocolates was not Black Magic.
