These days, our knowledge of celebrities too often originates with paparazzi images and snarky quotes by anonymous "insiders." After a while, it's easy to forget that stars are real people. That's why HuffPost Celebrity decided to launch its all-new #nofilter quick-fire question-and-answer series. Because how well do you know someone until they've shared their guiltiest pleasures?
Chris Noth may be best-known for playing the cad who kept Carrie Bradshaw hanging on for six seasons of "Sex and the City," but these days the big-hearted actor is more interested in his philanthropic efforts (when he's not starring on "The Good Wife" and working on upcoming film projects such as "Lovelace"). Noth recently teamed with Beaulieu Vineyard in its search for a National Hometown Hunger Hero, through the winery’s Give & Give Back program. That title (and a $10,000 donation) was bestowed on Brett Meyers, founder of the food delivery nonprofit Nourish Now. »

Apparently Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s movie “Lovelace” is about porn in the ’70s or something. I wouldn’t know, I’m not a very big connoisseur of such things. I like to read books and watch PBS dramas about proper English people drinking tea and whatnot. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Anyhoo. Check out 8 new images from “Lovelace”. There is no trailer for the film yet, though a couple of clips were previously released. You can check out both clips and the New images below. Just in case you weren't aware, Sharon Stone's still got it. The Lovelace star rocked not one but two sexy dresses at Cannes this week, each with a different section of skin showing. We love the racy red Roberto Cavalli that showed off her side, back and major sideboob, but it feels like there's something missing on the accessories front. Then there's her other Cavalli ensemble, this time in sparkly blue, which offers full frontal peepage. Except this time, the necklace is almost too much. »

Uma, Anita; Anita, Uma. As reported by THR and other trade outlets, Uma Thurman has been cast as outspoken anti-gay activist Anita Bryant in the upcoming film "Anita."
Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, the duo behind the biopics "Howl" (about Allen Ginsberg) and "Lovelace" (about porn star Linda Lovelace), will direct the film from a script by Chad Hodge. "Anita" has been in development since 2010, when it was an HBO movie that Darren Star ("Sex and the City") was set to direct.
"I pitched it to HBO in early 2010 and then spent the first six months of the year doing nothing but research," Hodge told The Back Lot back in 2011. "The research culminated with meeting Anita for three days in Oklahoma." According to that 2011 interview with Hodge, his script will focus on Bryant's notorious 1977 anti-gay campaign and whether Bryant still feels the same way. In addition to being a political activist, »

It was revealed today that Uma Thurman will be starring in Anita, the biopic about ex-celebrity singer and all-round living Satan Anita Bryant. The film will be directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, better known for their Oscar-winning documentary Common Threads: Story From The Quilt and their most recent film Lovelace.
The film follows Bryant and her career. When she allows a gay screenwriter into her home, she is forced to confront her past as an anti-gay Christian crusader who successfully campaigned to overturn a gay rights law in Florida, consequently destroying her showbiz career.
But the big question is, will we see Thurman get a pie in the face?
