The documentary titled Mostly Sunny Partly Cloudy that film filmmaker Dilip Mehta has made on her life is about to get a full and formal worldwide release. Says Dilip, "It would be a worldwide theatrical release. It's a feature-length documentary. Sunny is endearing, warm, candid and emotional and takes one through her life trajectory with remarkable openness and confidence." The documentary happened by sheer chance when a Canadian film company approached Dilip to direct a feature-length documentary on Sunny Leone. Recalling his first meeting with Ms. Leone Dilip says, "Sunny, her husband Daniel and I met at the Juhu Marriott in Mumbai over a year ago. Watch: Another International Trailer for Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur'

8 October 2015 8:09 AM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"It's up to us to protect our home... Sometimes you gotta face your fear to get to the other side." A few days ago, we featured the new theatrical trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, and now we have another one with even more footage. This trailer is the Australian version and features lots of new footage in the first half, presenting the entire story with the correct narrative in the film - starting with his family, then his adventure after the storm, meeting Spot, and eventually the T-Rexes. It's essentially a story about a boy and his dog, except the "dog" in this case is the human, and Arlo the apatosaurus is the "boy". It looks fantastic. Here's the new international trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, from Disney Australia's YouTube: You can also watch the latest full-length Us trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur here, for comparison. "A single moment can change everything." Whoa! This looks great. Dinos Speak in International Trailer for Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur'

21 September 2015 7:27 AM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"You got no business being out here." The newest international trailer for Pixar's The Good Dinosaur has debuted, and it actually features footage of the dinosaurs speaking! We know they all have voices, but as of yet we haven't heard much of them in any of the trailers for Pixar's second completely original movie out this year. The main voice we get to hear is that of Sam Elliott as the T-Rex named Butch, plus a little bit of Raymond Ochoa as Arlo, the main green apatosaurus that befriends the little human boy. Remember the concept in this flips things around - dinosaurs evolved to talk, humans are pets. And it still looks wonderful. Full-Length Trailer for Pixar's New Adventure 'The Good Dinosaur'

21 July 2015 9:30 AM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

Disney-Pixar has debuted a must-see full-length trailer for Pete Sohn's The Good Dinosaur, their new adventure into another time. The Good Dinosaur takes place in a world where the dinosaurs never died off and became the dominate species on Earth. One of them is named Arlo, voiced by Lucas Neff of "Raising Hope", and he comes across a small human. The two become friends, and the rest is history. This beautiful trailer is already hitting me right in the heart with emotions and scenes it shows. I love the music, I love the score, I just want to see this already. Sanjay’S Super Team Images Reveal Pixar’s Next Short Film

6 July 2015 10:59 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

When Pixar first started breaking out in the feature film world, they also earned a reputation for creating inventive, visually stunning short films. Movies like One Man Band, Lifted, and Partly Cloudy were wonderful preludes to the feature-length Pixar film that would soon follow, but in recent years the Pixar shorts have been somewhat lacking. The Blue Umbrella was downright odd, and Lava—attached to the excellent Inside Out—is just plain bad. But Pixar’s next short film, which will play in front of The Good Dinosaur this November, is mighty promising. USA Today has the first images from Sanjay’s Super Team, which follows a young Indian boy who is too transfixed by TV cartoons to pay attention to his father, who wants him to partake in a morning Hindu meditation ritual instead. Subsequently, Sanjay imagines three Hindu deities—Durga, Vishnu, and Hanuman—come to life and form their own superhero team. »

Annecy: Pixar Reveals Evolution of Troubled Toon ‘The Good Dinosaur’

16 June 2015 11:12 AM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

“At Pixar, we ask a lot of ‘what ifs,’” the studio’s Pete Sohn told a crowd of cartoon devotees (a mix of animation students, professionals and fans) at France’s Annecy Intl. Animated Film Festival: “What if the toys come to life when we leave the room? What if the monsters really were real inside the closet? What if a rat became a world-famous French chef?”

So far, those hypotheticals have yielded “Toy Story,” “Monsters Inc.” and “Ratatouille,” respectively, but according to Sohn, “With (‘The Good Dinosaur’), we would ask the biggest ‘what if’ of all.” With that, he cued a clip in which a gigantic asteroid misses the Earth, narrowly averting a mass extinction event: What if instead of being wiped off the Earth, dinosaurs had continued to evolve?

That’s the hypothetical that audiences will see answered when the film opens later this year, just in time for Thanksgiving, »

Pixar asks ‘what if?’ in first trailer for ‘The Good Dinosaur’

2 June 2015 2:30 PM, PDT | SoundOnSight | See recent SoundOnSight news »

Two Pixar films this year? What did we do right to deserve this?

The first teaser for the second Pixar film of 2015 was released today and offered our first true glimpse at the long in production, The Good Dinosaur. The film is directed by Peter Sohn and stars Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, Frances McDormand, and John Lithgow.

The film takes place after a traumatic event unsettles a lively Apatosaurus named Arlo, who sets out on a remarkable journey, gaining an unlikely companion along the way – a human boy.

Originally expected to hit theaters last year, it seems like The Good Dinosaur is going the route of Wall*E or Up and giving us a teaser that doesn’t share much plot or dialogue. It gives us a vague idea of what the film will be about and sells us on the tag that it will be from Pixar. »

John Lasseter Previews Disney/Pixar Slate, from 'Inside Out' to 'The Good Dinosaur' (new poster and trailer)

2 June 2015 12:47 PM, PDT | Thompson on Hollywood | See recent Thompson on Hollywood news »

“We ask what-ifs,” said John Lasseter at a recent detailed show-and-tell at Cannes for international press. “What if toys came to life, or a rat wanted to be chef? The next: what if that asteroid missed earth and dinosaurs and human beings co-existed?" Lasseter, celebrating a decade since he took over the reins with Pixar partner Ed Catmull running animation at Disney/Pixar, gave a preview of the upcoming slate with plenty of footage. It looks impressive indeed. Which is what we've come to expect.  "2015 is a milestone year for Pixar," he said, with two feature films coming out in one year--three over the next 12 months. First up there’s Pete Docter’s innovative and brilliant “Inside Out” (June 19) which after a delay finally premiered at Cannes and is sure to be a knockout summer hit. First Teaser Trailer For Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur

Originally set to come our way last year, Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur has had it’s fair share troubles on the way to the big screen, including original director Bob Peterson (co-director on Up) being removed from the project, and being replaced by his own co-director Peter Sohn (short movie Partly Cloudy). Now the first teaser has being released, giving us our first real look at Pixar’s buddy comedy, which follows young dinosaur Arlo (Lucas Neff), who makes an unlikely friend with a human boy while on an epic journey in a world where dinosaurs were never wiped out. While you don’t really get a feel for what The Good Dinosaur has in store for us with this teaser, there’s no denying the Pixar charm is intact.
