British SAS versus Nazis!, 24 February 2013
Author: peace63 from Valencia, Spain

The lead actress, Julianne Steadman, was really annoying in this film. She does not have much in the way of charisma. Her acting consists of screaming, demanding, threatening, and pouting. She plays the role of a hunter of Nazi war criminals, but she never actually shoots a gun, or does anything that would remotely indicate that she has ever been outside of a shopping mall.

Her friend is also hunting Nazis, though it turns out that he is doing it for a different reason. He is bland and boring, and after about thirty minutes of watching these two interacting, I was going to turn it off.

That's when they stumbled onto the British soldiers. The soldiers were the best members of the cast, and they were easily the best actors in this movie. They actually stayed in character, and they did a good job of being soldiers.

The villains were grunting Nazi zombies. Not much else to say about them. They were invulnerable, due to a magnetic field which kept them alive. Of course, if they are being shot to bits by numerous soldiers with machine-guns, you would think maybe their arms and legs would get shot off? I recall in Rambo IV, Stallone did a great job of shooting off the arms and legs of the enemy soldiers at the end of the movie.

Then again, if these same soldiers had been zombies since World War II, what had they been doing all those years?

As a B movie about Nazi zombies, this is not bad. It could have been better, if the two characters of Steadman and Marius had been eliminated. They really had nothing going for them. The soldiers each had more personality, and a lot more charisma. The soldiers were what saved the movie for me.

Without giving away the ending, let's just say it was a cop-out, and anti-climactic. The Star Wars rip-off scenes at the end were ridiculous. It went from being an OK horror movie, to being merely mediocre.
