The Possession of Michael King Release Date Announced

It’s difficult to be scared of what you don’t believe in. Michael King, a documentary filmmaker whose wife has just died, has no belief in an afterlife and thus feels no fear when it comes to exploring the supernatural. He’s all too willing to tempt dark paranormal forces during the making of his latest film, and he’ll learn the hard way that supernatural forces not only exist, but are capable of great evil.

Anchor Bay Films’ upcoming horror movie The Possession of Michael King will be adding some paranormal scares to the summer.

The Possession of Michael King is slated for an August 22nd theater release and a home media release on August 26th:

Starz Ups Kevin Kasha To Head Of Acquisitions

Kevin Kasha is moving up from his current role as Evp Worldwide Acquisitions at Anchor Bay Entertainment (Starz’s parent company) to the newly created position of Head of Acquisitions at Starz. In his new role, Kasha will oversee film, television series, and digital acquisitions for all of Starz’s businesses, including Starz Networks, Starz Worldwide Distribution, Starz Digital Media, and Anchor Bay Entertainment. The promotion was announced today by Michael Thornton, Chief Revenue Officer at Starz. Kasha joined Anchor Bay Films in 2008 as Svp Acquisitions. He was promoted to Evp Worldwide Acquisitions & Co-Productions in the spring of 2010. During his five-year tenure, Kasha acquired more than 100 films, according to Starz, including Andy Garcia-starrer City Island and Solitary Man, starring Michael Douglas.
