Bridgit Mendler lets loose on the beach in a music video for "This Is My Paradise". Debuted on Disney Channel on Sunday, December 19, the clip sees the actress playing Teddy Duncan on "Good Luck Charlie" star strumming her guitar, soaking up the sun and having fun on the beach with her friends.
Bringing a summer feel to the song featured in "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2", the 18-year-old sings, "I'm at home/Above all I got it by/Let the sun on my shoulder shine/We can run beneath this clear piece of sky." Intercepting footage of her and her friends on the beach are clips from the sequel of "Beverly Hills Chihuahua".

What did Nolan Gould do on his hiatus from playing dim-witted Luke Dunphy on ABC's Emmy-winning sitcom Modern Family? Instead of taking the summer off, the soon-to-be 12-year-old (his birthday is October 28) kept busy with gigs in the upcoming Justin Timberlake film Friends With Benefits and this week's episode of Good Luck Charlie.
On the Disney Channel kid-com airing Sundays at 8:30/7:30c, Gould plays Zander...

Veteran comedian and comedy writer Carol Leifer is taking an entrepreneurial approach with her new half-hour spec script Have a Great Day. Leifer has assembled a cast of actors she has worked with on other shows as well as other talent brought in by casting director Tracy Lilienfield (Will & Grace). Starring in Have a Great Day, an ensemble comedy based Leifer’s life as a comedian and comedy writer living in La with her partner and extended family, are Andy Kindler (Everybody Loves Raymond), Rachael Harris (The Hangover), Kym Whitley (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Emily Rutherfurd (New Adventures of Old Christine), Eric Allan Kramer (Good Luck Charlie) and Valerie Harper. In advance of the world premiere of his new slasher flick "Savage County" on MTV2 tonight, October 7, at 11 p.m. (10 p.m. Central), director David Harris has been guest-blogging on MTV News to share some thoughts on making the film. He talked about marketing the movie on Tuesday, offered up some horror-movie-making tips yesterday, and today he introduces the up-and-coming cast (like Ana Ayora, pictured to the right).
It's pretty rare for a horror movie to get an Academy Award, and even rarer for that award to go to the cast. (Quick Quiz: Which actors have won Academy Awards for horror movies? Answers at the bottom.)
Even actors who love horror movies have to look elsewhere for their field's top accolades. But horror has been a launching ground for a lot of famous names before they were famous names: Johnny Depp ("Nightmare on Elm Street"), Jennifer Anniston ("Leprechaun"), Mischa Barton »

Good Luck Charlie (TV) only kicked off three months ago, but the Disney Channel has already ordered both a second season of the hit family-friendly sitcom and a holiday-themed television movie. It's easy to see why Disney Channel is moving so fast to lock in Good Luck Charlie. The Miley Cyrus juggernaut Hannah Montana (TV) is fast nearing its conclusion and the ratings for Good Luck Charlie have been through the roof, with the series ranking #1 with tweens 9-14 during the second quarter of 2010. As for that holiday-themed movie, it's in development now and will feature the show's entire cast, including Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico, Leigh-Allyn Baker, and Eric Allen Kramer. »

"I think it's awesome to be able to make people laugh," says Bridgit Mendler, and she does on a regular basis. Now Bridgit stars in her own show playing Teddy Duncan on the Disney Channel's new series "Good Luck Charlie," which revolves around the Duncan family as they try to adjust to the birth of their fourth child. Chosen as this week's Girl2Watch, Bridget will be featured in a series or articles, fun facts and social media tweets through this week for subscribers of Girl2Watch.com.ACTOR2WATCH: What was your first big break?Bridgit Mendler: I did »
That baby in the eTrade commercials is hysterical. Someone should make a movie out of him.
Well, that probably won't happen. No matter, though, because there are plenty of other baby-themed movies gestating these days.
Before the year ends, audiences will also get a look at Robert Downey Jr. playing an expectant dad trying to hitchhike his way home in time for the birth of his child in "Due Date" for Warner Bros. And, let's not forget the "Meet the Fockers" sequel from DreamWorks and Paramount that has the Fockers (Ben Stiller and Teri Polo) awaiting the birth of their child.

Fresh off a decisive first-quarter ratings victory, USA Network showed no signs of letting up in the first week of April, outdistancing its nearest ad-supported cable rival by 1.18 million viewers.
For the week ending April 4, USA averaged 3.14 million viewers in primetime, besting second-place Fox News Channel's delivery of 1.96 million viewers. USA also swept the three core TV demos, averaging 1.37 million adults 25-54, 1.27 million viewers 18-49 and 553,000 viewers 18-34.
The latter demo marked USA's closest race for the week, as TBS came within 14,000 viewers of taking the 18-34 title.
All told, USA played host to six of the 10 most-watched programs on ad-supported cable, earning its best number with Monday night's "WWE Raw." The wrestling showcase drew 5.5 million total viewers between 9 p.m. and 11:13 p.m., of which 2.83 million were members of the 18-49 demo.

"Charlie" -- which, apparently, is also the subject line of an e-mail Leslie Moonves and Warner Bros.' Bruce Rosenblum sent to Charlie Sheen last week -- drew 4.8 million viewers Easter Sunday night at 8:30 p.m., 2 million of which were in the Dis-friendly demo of non-adults 9-14. This was the best premiere for a non-sequel/non-spinoff Disney series since "Hannah Montana" exactly four years ago.

Remember the Tgif sitcoms of yesteryear? Jason Dolley does, and he's not quite sure what happened to them.
"They were so huge, especially when my parents were growing up — everyone watched TV together," he tells TVGuide.com of such classic Friday-night family comedies as The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family. "That whole Tgif concept, for whatever reason, is gone now. But I think we will sort of fill that void."
Dolley stars in the new Disney comedy Good Luck Charlie (premieres Sunday at 8:30/7:30c), a throwback to those old-school family sitcoms that appealed to multiple generations (think Step by Step and Family Matters). The series focuses on the Duncan siblings, P.J. (Dolley), Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) and Gabe (Bradley Steven Perry), who must care for their baby sister Charlotte ("Charlie") when their ...
