New 'Muppets' TV Show Boycotted by One Million Moms

21 September 2015 10:46 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Muppets are finally hooking up with humans, and moms across the country don't like it! One Million Moms, which is an offshoot of the American Family Association, has decided to boycott the new ABC sitcom The Muppets in a big way. The show premieres this Tuesday. And if you didn't know that, you surely will by the end of the day. As this sort of boycott only serves as more publicity for the show. Who's not going to tune in now with the hopes of seeing pigs, and frogs, and bears fornicating with humans?

One Million Moms have issued a mission statement that claims they are attempting to stop the exploitation of children in entertainment media and elsewhere. They stand against the immorality, violence, vulgarity and profanity that entertainment media is serving to children on a daily basis. Their goal is to create a society that gives children the best »

Disney star Raven Goodwin was ordered out of the Waffle House in Atlanta Saturday night after she got into a fight with another customer over her choice of table. The 22-year-old "Good Luck Charlie" star was sitting at a table waiting for friends, but it looked like the people at the table next to her were about to leave so she asked to be moved there. The people at the other table lingered, which apparently pissed Raven off. »

Heather Locklear, 53, Looks Incredible In Bikini on Vacation with Richie Sambora & Look-Alike Daughter

17 April 2015 8:30 AM, PDT | TooFab | See recent TooFab news »

53 and fabulous! Heather Locklear slipped into one very sexy bikini while on vacation with ex-husband Richie Sambora and their 17-year-old daughter Ava in Bora Bora. The "Melrose Place" alum stunned in a striped black and white top with black bottoms, showing off her enviable physique in the tropical paradise. She looked so good, even her ex admitted in a recent interview that Locklear is "still hot" and "looks better than ever" these days. The trio reportedly went on the exotic getaway to celebrate Ava's 4.2 Gpa at school and her 11 scholarship offers for colleges.  The couple's daughter, who appeared in "This Is 40" and an episode of "Good Luck Charlie," visited Fordham, Nyu and Syracuse earlier this week with her famous father ... Richie sharing a pic from the Jesuit school with the caption "I'm goin back to college!" This is one good-looking (and clearly smart) family! Check out more '90s »

Preview – Undateable Still A Home Run, Tonight With 100% More Dogs

14 April 2015 11:57 AM, PDT | AreYouScreening.com | See recent AreYouScreening news »

I hope you’re watching Undateable, because the show is still one of the best times on television, and I think it’s getting even better as the new season progresses.

The addition of Good Luck Charlie‘s Bridgit Mendler was a great move, and she has, so far, been phenomenal on the show. She’s just the right mix of character that slips into the overall structure of the cast, and that’s a tricky thing to pull off.

In tonight’s episode, Justin discovers Danny has been taken advantage of, and Brett teaches Candace to lie – see the above clip.

Tune in, and catch up online if you need to.

As a special bonus… there’s this-

Undateable – Singing Precap

Bridgit Mendler: From Disney Good Girl to an Undateable Truth-Teller

16 March 2015 12:08 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Ready or not, here Bridgit Mendler comes — to NBC’s Undateable, where for Season 2 (premiering Tuesday at 9/8c) she has been added as a series regular.

Familiar to the younger set (and their folks, ahem) as Good Luck, Charlie‘s Teddy, Mendler has a cool 100 sitcom episodes under her belt, yet the Bill Lawrence comedy marks her first full-on foray into the broadcast-tv waters.

TVLine spoke with the 22-year-old actress/singer about navigating that leap, her Undateable character’s most “un-Disneylike” behavior and more.

Talking TV comedy with 'Undateable' producer Bill Lawrence

12 March 2015 6:22 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Every few years at press tour, I find myself sitting down with Bill Lawrence — creator, co-creator and/or showrunner of “Spin City,” “Scrubs,” “Cougar Town,” “Ground Floor” and NBC’s “Undateable,” which returns for a second season Tuesday night at 9:30 — to talk about the state of TV comedy. As a guy who broke into the business during the ‘90s sitcom boom (his early jobs were on “Boy Meets World” and “Friends”), who’s worked extensively on both traditional multi-cam sitcoms and filmed single-cam comedies, and has now worked for both broadcast and cable (with “Cougar Town,” which concludes its run at the end of this month, he’s done both), he can take a global view of the genre in a way many of his contemporaries can’t, and he remains one of the champion talkers among showrunners of comedy or drama. Back in January, we talked about letting »
