There are a few things we already know about Parks and Recreation‘s upcoming final season.

For one, we know we’ll find Leslie Knope & Co. in the 2017 version of Pawnee, after Season 6 concluded with a three-year time-jump.

We also know the guest-star roster thus far includes Will & Grace‘s Megan Mullally (yay!), Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm (double yay!) and returning cast members  Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe (have we said “yay” yet?)

Still, as we eagerly await the NBC comedy’s midseason debut — premiere date Tbd — we’ve got no clue where our favorite characters will end up »

Voice Cast For The Peanuts Movie Has Been Revealed

28 November 2014 10:37 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

There are still twelve months to go before the world gets to see the newest adventures of Charlie Brown in the Peanuts movie, but as is the case with marketing in today’s cinematic climate, audiences are growing to expect teaser materials at least a year in advance. So, after dropping the first trailer earlier this month, 20th Century Fox has now revealed who will be voicing the iconic characters based on Charles M. Schulz’s original comic series.

The cast of characters in the CGI-animated romp all originate from the classic children’s strip comic of the same name. For the first new feature in 35 years involving Charlie, Lucy, Linus, Franklin, Peppermint Patty, Snoopy and Woodstock, the studio has chosen a range of up-and-coming child actors to lend their voices to the much-loved troupe.

It might be considered a gamble to place newcomers into such a well-known franchise, but »

‘Peanuts’ Voice Cast Announced

27 November 2014 11:02 PM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends look set to take the CG world by storm in their upcoming feature length film, Peanuts. Based on the characters created by Charles M. Schultz for the comic-strip of the same name, Peanuts will see the world through the eyes of the young. Anyone worth their salt will already be planning on fitting A Charlie Brown Christmas into their Christmas schedule, and from the trailer it certainly looks as though the makers are trying to capture the magic of the original strip. As such, a young voice cast has been assembled, which doesn’t include any immediately recognisable names in its ranks, unless you’re a youngling yourself with a keen ear for Disney/Nickelodeon stars.

Here’s the cast, and we’re very happy that stars haven’t been crammed in to slap over posters and TV spots:

The Voice Results Recap: Women on the Verge of a Total Breakdown

Where are the Spice Girls when you need ‘em?

No, that’s not me throwing shade at Taylor Swift’s performance of “Blank Space” on tonight’s Top 10 results telecast of The Voice. It’s just that Season 7 of NBC’s reality-singing juggernaut could use a quintuple dose of girl power, rather than just the single shot brought by The Pop MegaSeller Formerly Known as Country.

I mean, how many talented chicas have fallen by the wayside — Toia Jones, Maiya Sykes, Amanda Lee Peers, Brittany Butler, Alessandra Castronovo and Jean Kelley, just to name a few — in the past three months, »

Former Teen Star Bridgit Mendler Lands New Series

25 November 2014 3:52 PM, PST | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

We have yet another former teen queen with a regular series role, Bridgit Mendler. The blonde star who was on Good Luck Charlie will be officially joining the cast of Undateable for season 2. Her character will be a optimistic new waitress who will not take no for an answer. Her untitled character will start on the series once it returns for season 2 next summer. At this point, not much more is known about the show or her character.

I am glad that she has founded a new series. Since her old show ended and she flirted with music, she hasn’t really acted in a good while. So this will be a nice and much needed change of pace for her. Especially since the nature of this NBC show is so different from her Disney one. Hopefully the world is ready for that side of her when it does make the way to TV. »

The Good Luck Charlie leading lady is joining the NBC comedy’s Season 2 cast as a new series regular, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Mendler will play a confident and undefeatably optimistic new waitress at the bar. She manages to stand tall even when Detroit knocks her down.

The Bill Lawrence-produced sitcom is slated to return in Summer 2015.

18 August 2014 8:16 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

So the big Emmys don't air until next Sunday night and at Moviefone we will have, of course, full coverage. But last night the Creative Arts Emmys were handed out, for the people that are largely responsible for making these shows that you absolutely love -- you know, the behind-the-scenes talent tasked with conceptualizing and realizing your favorite programs. Oh -- and some guest actor and actresses awards were handed out, so there's that too!

In the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category Uzo Aduba took home the prize for "Orange is the New Black." Since we are, very shamefully, one of a handful of Americans who hasn't seen a single second of "Orange in the New Black," this doesn't mean a whole lot to us, but we are very happy for her! (We promise, we'll watch soon.) For the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, the »
