The first episode ,'The Neighbour', a likeable young couple move into a new flat below a gentleman who has just murdered his wife. Argento cronie Luigi Cozzi directs. The second, 'The Tram', is the only episode officially directed by Argento himself, a whodunnit set aboard a crowded tram. The third, 'Eyewitness', tells of a nice young girl who witnesses a murder only for the body and all trace of the crime to have vanished upon returning with the police.
