The flattened remains of a woman are found in a recycling plant, leading the team to a wedding planner, the woman's fiancee, and the owner of an online dating service. As the Squints work to solve the case, Bones and Booth are at odds when it appears that someone they know is cheating on a friend/colleague.
Meriel Mitsakis' body is found, mechanically crushed in a recycling plant. She had experimental plastic toe surgery, as final touch for a life long-planned perfect wedding with Mike. Tracing her wedding dress, Booth and Bones see Sweets' bossy girl, crazy Daisy, being fitted for one, presumably with her fiancé. Against Booth's and the others' advise, Bones ends up telling Lance. Meriel's multiple infidelity made her enemies, some without alibi. She was overrun by the car owned by her date (from the cellphone-proximity dating service) which Hodgins also uses. Written by
The victims name is Mariel which is also the fake name used by Muriel Heselhop in Muriel's Wedding. Both characters have always wanted to be brides. See more »
When Dr. Brennan is telling Dr. Sweets that she believes Daisy is cheating on him, the camera alternates between shots of Sweets from Brennan's left and shots of Brennan from Sweets' right. We can see the right side of Sweets' cheek in the foreground of shots taken from his right and, at the end of a few of these shots, he begins to speak though his cheek remains still. See more »
Special Agent Seeley Booth:
Look Bones, you can't go around telling everybody what's on your mind even though it's the truth. Okay? What if we were going out, right? And you were, you know, taking forever to get ready. You come out in this dress, and I told you I didn't like it. What are you gonna do?
Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan:
I'd reevaluate. Change or ignore you.
Special Agent Seeley Booth:
Of course you would Bones. Good answer.

B&B have about as nasty a corpse to deal with as has ever been seen on this show: a smooshed body has been found in the midst of a pile of compressed cardboard sheets due for recycling. Worse, the head has been run over by a very large car tire. The remains are even more nauseating than the guy who was thrown out of an airplane. Tryng to remove the remains from the cardboard sheeting proves tricky, until the latest intern falls back on his days as a pizzeria worker. I will leave the rest to your imagination. Sometimes, I think BONES and NCIS are competing for the grossest corpse prize on a commercial TV show, if there is such a thing. Meanwhile, Brennan thinks Sweets' gal pal is cheating on him and wants desperately to tell Sweets, but not if Booth can help it. Much comedy ensues. A very good episode, if you can stand a corpse that looks like a giant smooshed pizza. Mayim "Blossom" Bialik has a small part, and I'm sorry to say she still hasn't gotten her nose fixed.
