Storyline

SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One (1/2 hour Special): While trying to sell Krabby Patties to hungry surfers in the waters of Goo Lagoon, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs are swept away by a giant wave. Mr. Krabs is carried off into the haunted waters of the Dutchman's Triangle, and the other three find themselves stranded on a remote tropical island. SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward travel to the heart of the island where they meet an enigmatic surf guru named Jack Kahuna Laguna. Jack tells them that the only way back to Bikini Bottom is to surf the legendary wave called "The Big One". The bad news-this wave only comes once in a lifetime. The good news-The Big One is coming in just a matter of days. And the other bad news-they don't know how to surf! Written by NAS

There's one thing I forgot to tell you. In return for its awesomeness, the Big One always demands a sacrifice.

I cannot imagine why I put this in my queue. I do have SpongeBob handing on my rear view mirror, but that is to ward off evil spirits like James Dobson, who believe that he will make you gay.

Despite the fact that i never saw Patrick and SpongeBob holding hands in this film, I got it because of the hunk that was teaching them how to surf, one Jack Kahuna Laguna, who was voiced by none other that Johnny Depp. That's four Depp films in a row. I seriously need to find something else.

But, it was funny and colorful, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It even featured Davy Jones from the Monkees; not his voice, but Jones himself in a cartoon. How do they do that?
