Plus a tad depressing because of what Hope is going thru and the Salvatore school as a whole too. I did enjoy the character moments we did get this ep and I feel like those moments were sets up for what's to come for the characters as the season progresses.

This show is good and deserves more love
The show obviously doesnt compare to vampire Diaries and the originals however the characters are likeable, diverse, and the it gives us a small piece of the tvdu that we are not ready to lose, I am still hoping we can get an ending in the afterlife with klaus and hayley for hope
Also still hoping for old characters to appear
When kai appeared it was amazing so I am hoping for more
The main issue of the show is that is directed towards a younger audience and the fans of the tvdu are now teenagers or older that except more mature content, however it is a school for children what did we except
Also why too many villains and one story for 3 seasons malivore
Mixed opinions

The good: I enjoyed Cleo's entire vibe, Lizzie's personal growth, and Josie's scene with Ethan. Ethan is sweet and feels like a wonderful addition to the cast.
The (?): Landon was brought back too quickly. If Hope goes through the stages of grief only for him to come back and resume their relationship, this arc of moving on and accepting his death will be useless. This is especially worrying as she is a character who has suffered individually, with all of her interactions and arcs leading back to him. BUT, the writers may surprise us and change things up. Landon has arc points that aren't attached to her, or otherwise made about her to prop up their epic love, so I'm crossing my fingers that Hope receives the same treatment. She deserves it; she deserves to stand on her own as a character.
I'll see how this ends and let that determine whether or not I'll keep watching.

They really need to stop trying to make ✨rooting for Landon✨ happening. I think Hope's character is pretty badass and to be honest it's more than underwhelming to see how they have reduced her to be only Landon's girlfriend.
