When the top of Jericho's walls fall down, this was done by combining 3 videos shot in front of greenscreen. on one of the layers, the wall of Jericho was glued onto a large binder and pushed over.
There was originally going to be a line where when Solomon's nephew wakes up, he looks up at the sky and says: "w-what is it". there was also going to a be an "Anita Brain's Report" when one of the guards and soldiers says: "they're back! the Isralaelites are back!", Anita Brain was going to say right after he said it: "I've just received word that the Israelites are back". there was also going to be a scene where they'd go into detail of the guards and soldiers on Jericho as it was collapsing and they would be running around screaming, falling off and trying to survive. they was also going to be a bird's-eye-view shot of the collapsed walls of Jericho and the Israelites running towards it. all these scenes were cut from the final film mainly 'cause of the timing issues.
When the camera shows an over-the-shoulder shot of behind Rahab as she's looking out the window at the guards, this was done using a bigger window sill to the one they used for the rest of the film and they also were holding Rahab closer to the camera.
The hardest scene to animate was Solomon swimming.
This was followed after 2 short films with no greenscreen used.
