Ian Somerhalder can't help but gush over his wife Nikki Reed as they journey through parenthood together for the first time. The famous couple welcomed their daughter Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder into the world on July 25, and while he's certainly by her side through it all, Somerhalder is in total awe over the way Reed has handled pregnancy and motherhood. The Vampire Diaries actor took to Instagram to share his wife's Fit Pregnancy and Baby magazine cover and photos, noting that they're a reminder of the beauty she encompassed while "growing" their daughter. "A quick note to you my beautiful wife," he began. "You are briefly napping on the other »
It looks like Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed aren't adhering to that postbirth "month of silence" rule after all. On Monday, The Vampire Diaries actor broke the couple's vow to stay away from their phones for 30 days after welcoming daughter Bodhi Soleil to pen a heartfelt note to his wife on Instagram. "Just a quick note to you my beautiful wife," he wrote alongside photos from her stunning September cover of Fit Pregnancy. "You are briefly napping on the other side of the room after being an amazing mom all night so you'll read this when you wake . . . seeing these images reminds me of those amazing nine months that you sacrificed your whole being to grow our little one. The kindness, the beauty and organic nature of these photos makes me so very proud. You brought such fun and such power into our lives being pregnant but you literally brought the word sexy into pregnancy, »

Sneak Peek new images of "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev in a special September 2017 edition of "Harper's Bazaar" magazine, photographed by Jennifer Livingston, posing in "Tommy Hilfiger", "Dkny", "Coach" and a whole lot more:
"That was the plan from the get-go," said Dobrev about leaving "The Vampire Diaries".
"I needed to feel that fear of...what if I never get a job again?’ That just made me want to work five times as hard to make sure that didn’t happen...
"I'm comfortable in my own skin, and I do what I need to do, to feel good, but I'm built the way I am. The dancer's feet, the bruises on my legs, they're not going to go away. I think real girls have bruises. Tough chicks get bruised. They get dirty. And they have fun...

On Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, the moon will pass between our planet* and the sun, creating a total solar eclipse — and if you think we can’t find a way to relate that to television, you’re obviously a new TVLine reader. (Welcome, by the way.)
In truth, the whole “solar eclipse” thing is old hat for the small screen; some of our favorite shows have built memorable episodes around the astronomical phenomenon — and you don’t need any special glasses to watch ’em.
The Vampire Diaries was a show full of unexpected turns but perhaps the most shocking twist of all was when Nina Dobrev decided to leave the show for good. For six seasons, the 28-year-old actress played lead character Elena Gilbert (and sometimes doppelganger villain Katherine Pierce.) She announced her departure from Tvd after her contract ended in 2015 -- just a few weeks after co-star Ian Somerhalder announced his engagement to Nikki Reed. Many thought her decision to leave had to do with Somerhalder, whom she dated from 2011 to 2013. But Dobrev explains leaving the CW series was all part of her plan from the start. »

I needed to feel that fear of ‘Oh, my God, what if I never get a job again?’ That just made me want to work five times as hard to make sure that didn’t happen."

Nina Dobrev rose to fame with her many roles on The Vampire Diaries, but now she's putting all that behind her and making a new name for herself. Since the series wrapped earlier this year, the 28-year-old has been busy starring in new projects, going on fun adventures with her friends, and using her social media presence to voice her opinions about the current Potus. Even though she has a lot of plates spinning at the moment, the actress managed to squeeze in a little time to grace the cover of Harper's Bazaar's September issue. Aside from looking absolutely gorgeous, per usual, she also opened up about her addiction to trying new things, why she left Tvd, and how her immigrant background has shaped her political views. According to Nina Dobrev, leaving The Vampire Diaries was all a part of her plan. The 28-year-old star, who emigrated to Toronto from Bulgaria when she was merely a toddler, rose to national fame when she landed the role of Elena Gilbert in CW's hit series in 2009. Fast forward six years later, the actress surprised fans when she did not sign on for season 7 and the series lost a longtime and beloved main character. Reflecting on that time today, Dobrev maintains that the exit was her choice. "That was the plan from the get-go," she told harper by Harper's Bazaar. "If anything, the fact that [leaving] terrified me drove me even more." While leaving a show that made her a »

In episode ten, perhaps for the first time, we see Waverly and Wynonna working against one another, and winding up squarely on opposite sides. It's bad news for the Earps, but it makes for great television. While Nicole may have felt isolated from the Black Badge crew this season, their various (and sometimes misguided) actions to save her life this episode should make it clear where they stand.

Cats have been teachers for Ian Somerhalder since the beginning.
The Vampire Diaries actor and soon-to-be dad got his first feline, Tiger, when he was just three years old. During their time together, Tiger was hit by a car, leading Somerhalder’s parents to spend “every dollar they had on a cat.”
The orange kitty pulled through the accident and taught his three-year-old owner a valuable lesson in the process.
“It was the first time I learned about healing, and my parents’ first time trying to explain how things change in the body. I got this amazing anatomy lesson,” Somerhalder told People. »

A post shared by Candice King (@craccola) on Aug 2, 2017 at 1:21pm Pdt Stefan Salvatore may be dead, but Caroline's love for him lives on. Candice King, who is set to reprise her The Vampire Diaries character during the fifth and final season of The Originals, posted her first photo from set on Wednesday, and we are already going crazy combing through the details. Not much is known about her appearance in the upcoming premiere, but season four ends with Klaus's daughter, Hope, attending Caroline and Alaric's supernatural boarding school. While we're certainly eager to see Caroline reunite with the original vampire, it seems like she might still hold a candle for Stefan, whom she married during the final season of Tvd. The proof? Eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but notice that King seems to be wearing a ring around her neck in the set picture. In fact, if you zoom in just enough, »
