An entertaining, adeptly crafted documentary that treats its provocative subject matter with refreshing respect.
While it admirably avoids either schoolboyish titters or schoolmarmish prudery, the docu's cheery neutrality comes at the expense of any point of view at all.
The Hollywood Reporter
Feels surprisingly tame, coming off more like an extended advertisement for Grecco's coffee table book of the same name.
It isn't really a documentary about the porn industry but rather a documentary about the making of a coffee-table book containing posed photos of porn stars, fans and moguls. Director Michael Grecco is also the photographer making the book, so perhaps "infomercial" would be a more accurate description.
