A very warm late-night drama that can bring love and peace to your heart. Unlike the popular 'Midnight diner' which offer healing environment for guests, this western style bar in Tokyo suburb works like a rain shelter for three guys as well. Highly recommended.
After I loved the first two episodes, I savoured each episode knowing there were only six.
I watched each episode at night just before bed, dimming the lights of my living room and shutting all noises so that I too could feel I had a barstool to myself at The Three Star bar and had Amamiya serve me a drink to wipe the day behind me and and to fill me with hope for the next day. Every story had interwoven a moral lesson and hope. Amamiya's smile is what one needs at the end of a long day. Wish the bar were for real with an unlimited supply of kadzume or canned food.
I think I am falling in love with Japanese web series about food - Samurai Gourmet, Midnight diner and now Three star bar.
