Talmadge Neville, a man who was responsible for the accidental death of a young girl a few years ago was released from prison. The mother of the girl is not happy about it, but Mac tells her there's nothing more that can be done. Mac later learns she hired a hit man to get him. Mac tries to convince her not to go through with it. Mac then later recalls things when he investigated the girl's death which makes him think that Neville might not be the killer.
