Did You Know?

In the previous episode, Danny was given two weeks suspension for being too rough with a suspect. At the beginning of the episode, Lindsay is looking for him and Adam says that he's at a crime scene. What is he doing at a crime scene if he's still (only one week later) under suspension? See more »

[about Talmadge Neville]
Ronnie DeSoto: He should be lying in an alley right now with a bullet between his eyes.
Detective Don Flack: Excuse me?
Detective Stella Bonasera: And how do you know that?
[DeSoto doesn't answer]
Detective Don Flack: You were going to do him, weren't you? So what's your beef with Talmadge Neville?
Ronnie DeSoto: Let's just say I'm a guy with a specific skill set. And I got the constitution to commit acts that other people don't have the courage to.
Detective Stella Bonasera: You're a hit man.
Ronnie DeSoto: I'm not familiar with that term.

The Wrong Message
9 February 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is one of those episodes in which the ending bothered me a bit because justice wasn't really served. It's not served if the wrong person goes to jail, but somehow the writers of this episode convey it's okay in this case.

Wrong. "Mac" knows that, sees both main parties lying their butts off, but wimps out at the end himself. This is not a good message to send and I'm surprised Gary Sinise, a principled man, went along with it.

Whatever, Charles S. Dutton was fascinating to watch as "Talmadge Neville." On a lighter note, we get to see Lyndsay and Danny with their new baby.
