Writer/Director Nelson Carvajal gave each of the characters fleshed out backgrounds, all of which weren't articulated in his original screenplay. The actors were informed on the backgrounds on motivations. He wanted the actors to know where each role was coming from but wanted that same information obfuscated from the audience so that they would have an uneasy feeling while watching the short. In fact, most of the characters' names aren't even mentioned in any of the dialogue. See more »
