Written, filmed, edited, and authored in under 10 hours, as an entry to the Marble City 10-Hour Film Festival, in which each film crew was randomly assigned a genre the morning of the festival, as well as three thematic elements which must be incorporated into the film. The three elements were: A broken window, a lock of hair, and creative incorporation of the phrase "the key".
