Great Musical Drama for the Whole Family
26 September 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

No Limit Kids: Much Ado About Middle School is a fun, intriguing story that had me from the very beginning. The kids in this film are real (not your typical Hollywood on-screen types) and their musical, acting and dancing ability are superb. Celeste Kellogg is an extremely talented musical artist who made the transition to film with ease. Ashton Harrell's vocal ability is amazing for a teenager, while his humble, likable approach to the on-screen character he portraits really resonates with the audience. All the kids really shine throughout with their performances, and it's fun to see Blake Michael in a film role before his Lemonade Mouth debut with Disney. Bill Cobbs and Lee Meriwether offer up some great characters as well which really help weave the plot. References to Shakespeare's original story are handled with care, and are well hidden which adds to the whole experience. A truly inspiring story that I'll watch again and again!
