Serena finally realises that Gabriel is no angel. In an attempt to right her wrong judgement of Gabriel and get the embezzled money returned, Serena, Blair, and Chuck, manage to get Georgina to pose as an oil heiress from Canada, as bait for a meeting with Poppy. The idea being to record Poppy scamming more money, and turn her over to "the Feds". Dan lets Lily know their scheme, things don't quite go to plan, and Serena winds up in the clink, while Poppy walks away with the Bible cash from Georgina. Meanwhile Chuck lies to Blair, saying she was just a game, seconds later telling Serena, he actually loves her. Meanwhile the well meaning Rufus has gone to some trouble to create a proposla scenario for Lily, only to at the last minute discover his embezzled investment money will be given better treatment than all the others. This cause his feet to cool, and he returns home, asking Dan and Jenny to return the ring...sniff, sniff...tear, tear...
