  • 4/10 The zookeepers have to deal with their bear, Buster, escaping. Benjamin finds him and Buster disarms him and roars at him before possibly attacking him. However, the bear is then hit with tranquilizer darts before he can and is transported safely back to his enclosure.
  • Spar, their oldest tiger, is in significant physical decline and the zookeepers recommend he be euthanized. Benjamin initially does not accept this and has a loud argument with his chief zookeeper who is adamant that it must be done. Benjamin spends the night wrestling with the matter before a positive conversation with his son leads to conclude that Spar must be put down.
  • One character opens a crate full of snakes which is startling even though the crate is labeled well so it isn't a surprise.
  • There are snakes covering the yard in one scene. Some (especially children or squeamish people) might find this scene startling or frightening.
  • The subject of the existence of the Easter Bunny is brought up.
  • The story is based around a bereaved family, and there is a very emotional scene towards the end that may upset some viewers.
  • 14/50 A very mild film, but the language is a bit heavy for a PG.
