Storyline

When Madea catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April. A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. But her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April's basement room. Making amends for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart. And April soon realizes she must make the biggest choice of her life: between her old ways with Raymond and the new possibilities of family, faith ... and even true love. Written by Lionsgate

Honestly movie...
22 April 2011 | by (Athens) – See all my reviews

Nice movie, nice feelings, honestly movie. The only reason I give 10 stars is because there is an injustice with all these reviewers that gave a low score for the movie. This is not fair. I would give 7 stars for a movie of this type, if there wasn't the unfair game of some people with their low scores. This (under 3) score just can't be true. These American neighbourhood type movies are my favorites and most of times they are not good. But If I think of all movies of this type that I have seen till today, I can surely say that this is a human movie, with feelings as I said, with some everyday human situations and problems that many people have, and all these are shown from this movie with both a drama and comedy way, but with respect to anyone who has problems in this life. The actors played very nice and for a movie of this type, they do their best. For sure they are good actors too, but I think they feeled their roles and thats why they played nice. I hope you all see this movie. But first "See yourselves in the mirror" as Madea says to the girl. See yourselves, think who you are think of peoples around you and their problems and then give your score here. It will be surely a bigger score then. Thank you that you read my review and hope not to offend anyone. I hope the best to Mr Tyler Perry. I wish I could make a movie like this or participate in the creation of a movie like this, but I live in Greece where cinema is very difficult for a simple young film director, with a state that never cares for young people with dreams. So, I see movies like this in order to become happier in my life...I suggest you to do the same...
