- Zixx and the others have less than 24 hours to destroy the Magdathars, save Tarphex, fulfill the Gaanthian prophecy and defeat Onccalon once and for all.
- With only five Team members and less than twenty-four hours to save the universe, Zixx and her Team truly have their backs to the wall. And to complicate matters, the Magdathars have been regenerated and are back to cause trouble. But as all heroes do, the Team boldly rises to the occasion. Dwayne starts by discovering the key to ridding themselves of the Magdathars for good - water. Riley and Zixx quickly realize that all the things they have thought were true have been false, and thereby make the discovery that sets the stage for Onccalon's destruction - it is the Sword replica that is the true Sword. With the Magdathars gone for good, and the true Sword in their hands, Zixx sets off to complete the last phase of the plan.... Tarphex's redemption. She knows that if he does not demonstrate his prophecy quality of courage, then all will be lost. Inside the Keep, Zixx offers Tarphex one last shot at redemption before warning him that she has the true Sword - and that she refuses to give up on him. Tarphex laughs off her offer but, in the final moments, when Onccalon orders Tarphex to destroy Zixx, Tarphex shoots at Zixx but intentionally misses. Defying Onccalon has taken great courage. Zixx tosses Tarphex the red gemstone which he places in the Sword, allowing it to become whole, but pays for his actions as Onccalon turns the full force of his fury on Tarphex. With mere seconds remaining, Onccalon, finally free of the Gaanth bonds, steps into the portal to the outside world but in his arrogance turns his back on Zixx. She throws the Sword at him, striking where "mind meets motion" and destroys him. The Team have triumphed. Tarphex is healed with the yellow gemstone. And Dwayne tops it all off by fixing the Network communicator allowing Zixx, Flanngo and Tarphex to contact the Network guaranteeing them a trip home. But it's not the end. Zixx praises her Team and assures them that the Network is going to want to keep them together for their next mission, very soon. Flanngo sighs.
