A very hard episode to like, mainly because it's full of people that are very hard to like.The script tells us that Dani is wrong but in fact, while she's not exactly right, having a problem with your sister dating the boy that raped you is a pretty understandable point of view to take.Kirsty is naive, Scott is a loser, Hayley is vindictive... which just leaves Kane himself, who seems to be suffering from a split personality.There's really no defence for his verbal assault on Dani, especially when he says he wishes he'd never touched her.Given that he forced himself on her, he really doesn't have any right to say that. The only person who comes out of the episode with any credit is Rhys, who stays calm and tries to do what's best for everyone.
The flash forward at the start is an odd device and Jesse lets himself get pressured a bit too easily.The last few minutes with Dani getting an opportunity to let her hair down are nice to see...but it only results in another tragedy which could have dangerous repercussions.
