Wow! What a Weird Movie
arfdawg-124 January 2023
I have no idea who made this movie, nor do I know anyone in the cast. It is really bizarre. The two main characters in the beginning look like they are 14 but they have this conversation aout marriage. Why?

But that's not the bizarre part. Wha's really odd is that the entire set, save for the table and chairs appears to be blue screen CGI!!!!!

For the most part the acting is OK for a movie tha looks like it was made for twenty dollars, but it gets rather boring rather quickly.

The girl has a really annoing Disney voice that goes right through you. The story is really dumb, and there is little tension or action. It's basically a one room play performed with a couple cameras. Sort of like an old style English drawing room drama. Only htere is no drama.

In sum the production is like a Poverty Row Disney film. It's not very good, nor can I recommend.

Different - Started Slow, But Was Pretty Good

I believe this movie was filmed as a play. It has that stage performance feel.

For the first few minutes, there's no background music at, which is a bit distracting when we're used to modern films with movie length scores. They do finally find the soundtrack button and maintains that throughout.

It starts a little slow, with only three characters basically having a conversation it's easy to give up on it early. For those who stick it out, the pace picks up, the story is quite interesting and the characters are... well... they're characters! Lol

I know that the window scenes are CGI, as are some of the "special effects" but one thing I found really odd was that the "contract" looks computer generated! Even though there's nothing special about it.... it's just a large sheet of paper with writing on it. Why THAT would be animation is beyond me!

Another odd thing... or rather something that just doesn't fit is that the two main leads are supposed to be in their mid twenties, either still in college or just out of college and are talking marriage throughout the show. When you look at them, though... all you see are two kids who look like they can't be more than 16.

In any event, if you enjoy off-the-beaten-path movies; indie films; stage plays; or just entertaining movies without the big studio budget or the big studio agenda, you might just enjoy this.
