It may not have the thrills, but the story develops very well.

Sister Agnes discovers an injured Jemima, not in The Tower, but inside The Chapel. Young Tessa has a message for Jemima, but she vanishes before she can pass it on.

It was never going to be quite as dramatic or horrifying as the previous episode, you pick up episode four feeling almost breathless, but what this lacks in spills and thrills, it more than makes up for in content.

The plot really does move forward here, it now becomes apparent that there is some underhanded behaviour happening around the land.

Elvi Hale was hilarious as Lady Polly, her presentation at the bazaar brought some much welcomed light relief.

The production continues to impress, the music and lighting are spot on.

The intrigue grows, two dead and one missing, so far Sister Agnes is seeming like the most likely candidate.

8/10.
