Storyline

Great adventures can hatch from the smallest eggs. Fucsia wants to learn to do magic just like her father, and so is pleased as punch when she is allowed to go to witches' school. There, Fucsia learns to make wind and conjures with the clouds. But her magic often has unexpected results, however, as she is sometimes that little bit too ambitious. Written by Holland Film

Must lose something in translation
28 September 2013 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Worst. Movie. Ever. The costumes and dialogue are so corny, maybe it loses something in the translation, but I can't imagine it being much better in Dutch. My daughter watched it (she's 5), but it was pretty painful for me to sit through. The storyline itself wasn't that bad, predictable, but slightly entertaining. It was just the cheese factor that went into the movie that makes it so bad. There are a couple of times during the movie that the characters burst into song. I'm all for a good musical, but in this case, it just adds to the cheese factor, and they could have at least found people who could carry a tone to do the voice overs.
