Storyline

The team investigate the brutal slaying of Bernard 'Ben' Misto aka Ben Parks, a homeless Samaritan. Follow-up investigations show that Ben was a multi-millionaire who went missing after his beloved wife died of a brain tumor. However, the team's belief that Bernard's family are involved is thrown wide open with the discovery of two more homeless deaths - all killed the same way as Bernard. Further evidence leads Stanley to setting up a sting to catch the real killer with Matt as 'bait'. Meanwhile, Stanley visits his ex-wife Linda on the anniversary of the death of their son Christopher but Linda rejects him so he goes to Bernice to talk about it who counsels him into seeking help.
