Mediocre Morgan comedy porn
22 May 2017 | by (New York, New York) – See all my reviews

The perils of assembly-line filmmaking are evident in "Heaven or Hell", a typical Jonathan Morgan Adult comedy that should have been much better in every department. But it wasn't one of his big-budget prestige projects, just a run-of-the-mill Alektra Blue fantasy vehicle the sort of which is no longer feasible in these post-story XXX times.

She gives an energetic performance as a lusty woman who after boyfriend Voodoo is too tired (and lazy) for morning sex goes out on her bike for some a.m. exercise and is fatally hit by a truck. She ends up in a cheaply depicted (all smoke or dry ice) form of purgatory, lectured solemnly by guest star George Kaplan (the screenwriter but not for this project) in a role modeled after those numerous assignments in Hollywood's Golden Age essayed by Alan Mowbray.

He sends her to a waiting room filled with hapless folks riddled with gore makeup, clearly victims of similar mishaps (lovely Alektra looks fresh as a daisy, though later we see tire tracks embossed on her belly as evidence of her demise). Her ticket number is over a million, not too promising as folks with number 7 through 9 are being called for review. Each one's life history must be examined in order for the determination of, as the title suggests, whether to send them to heaven or hell.

That's the entire film, so we watch sex vignettes in the form of flashbacks showing previous life & crucial trauma for each of her fellows in waiting.

Best of these by far concerns Ann Marie Rios, quite funny screaming all her dialog at the top of her lungs, her eardrums having been shattered right before her fatal aneurysm. Her boyfriend was testing out a comically elaborate hi-fi speaker system and got carried away. Morgan delivers some quality SPFX, in this case a head blowing up of the boyfriend standing to close to his speakers, with red-meat gore sprayed all over Ann Marie in reaction shot. The DVD's BTS short subject has a much funnier actual depiction of the goop catapulted at her, with the actress's inevitable disgusted reaction to the "movie magic" physical abuse.

Randy Spears appears as a guy stung to death by killer bees; and Alektra's old flame (pre-Voodoo) pops up as a guy also dead, but we watch instead him humping Alektra in happier times, staged low-down fashion in a bathroom stall at a biker bar. Film's dumb ending betrays Morgan's disinterest in the project.
