Trivia

Martha Raye sings 'How About Me?' Kenny Rogers and the First Edition perform 'If Wishes Were Horses' and 'Listen to the Music.' In the Olio Spot, Red impersonates a vaudeville hoofer, competing with guests Jimmy Cross and Sid Slate. In the Silent Spot, Red reprises his 'Charlie the Swinger' character who, while romancing two girls, experiences a very rocky road with a hunter, a bear trap, and a Boy Scout troop on 'Lovers Lane.' In the main sketch, the writers often change the name of the town of which Deadeye is Sheriff, and this time use 'Cactus Gulch.' See more »
