Quotes
King Silas Benjamin:
You *can* drink with people you hate; life's taught me that much. Come on - might be your last.
David Shepherd:

... So that's it, then - we die tomorrow.
King Silas Benjamin:

Kings, one of the best shows in recent television history, was canceled by NBC, replaced by another 'reality' show. It is a testimony to the programmers at NBC of their poor judgment, one in a long line of intellectual mistakes. It is apparent that NBC considers its viewers to have an IQ equal to the product of in-breeding. Rather than being force-fed the mind-numbing dishes that NBC has chosen to offer, I've switched channels.
The performances of the actors were worthy of Emmy awards. The direction was flawless. The scripts were well written and intellectually stimulating. The sets were movie-quality. The cast was wisely chosen. Each and every episode offered stimulating drama without the need to resort to luring viewers with sexual encounters and extreme violence.
I'll miss this show very much.
