Quotes

Jojo - Hippy Vampire: Um, Hi. I'm Jojo, died in Nineteen Sixty-nine. This all sounds very exciting, taking over the planet and everything, but I'd rather not get involved if it's going to involve any sort of violence!
Morticia de'Ath: Oh for the love of blood! A hippy vampire! Well how do you expect us to take over the world then? A major leafleting campaign?

Vampires in Cornwall
25 March 2010 | by (London England) – See all my reviews

This is a very funny, unpretentious, light-hearted, feel-good film. An affectionate parody of the vampire genre, it manages to go further than the old Hammer films ever did: the body parts served for dinner are particularly revoltingly realistic, and the vampire wenches are absolutely delectable.

Some of the one-liners are memorable: "Oh my head! Who was I drinking last night?" or "If you need anything, scream."

Shades of Monty Python as the evil vampiress Morticia bemoans "It's the one single drawback of being undead. That and crucifixes, the two single drawbacks....." With so many humorous references and comic characters it is a veritable feast of smiles. a must see!
