African and Middle Eastern politics intersect in Isaiah's Children, a film about tribes wrenched apart and new ones pieced together following a dangerous exodus to a new world. Thousands of Sudanese refugees risk their lives crossing Egypt's Sinai into Israel, an enemy nation for refugees from Sudan. Amid an uncertain future, members of historically warring tribes unite in a foreign land through family, faith, music, and an eerie biblical prophecy from the Book of Isaiah.
