In the days leading up to her wedding, Abel is confronted by a strange pregnant woman who claims she's carrying the child of her fiance, Wisnu. Shocked by this revelation, Abel feels that her world is falling apart and decides to kill herself. She fails her suicide attempt and suffers a near death experience. Now troubled and depressed, she finds comfort in her best friend, Charlie, who asks her to take some time off at a large getaway mansion outside of town. Strange events begin to occur as the house is haunted by apparitions of the dead. Something from Abel's brush with death seems to be following her and the only way she can escape is if she dies once again. Written by
Cheapish, but artsy and somewhat original horror flick.
This one is pretty interesting and pretentious horror flick, which rips off pretty much every horror movie in existence and somehow manages to stay somewhat original at the same time. It's artsy, weird and pretty creepy, you are thrown enough clues to somewhat guess what's going on, but at the same time you'll be wondering if there could be some other perspective you should be looking from, however the true point movie is trying to make becomes clear only at the ending. Special effects are pretty dated, but not horrible, the same unfortunately could not be said about directing - it's pretty bad and has that low budget soap opera feel into it, acting isn't top notch either. Soundtrack is lacking, but main theme is pretty cool. I would recommend it if you have some spare time to waist, but don't expect too much out of it.
