Patty Dog Sits
27 February 2012 | by (Earth) – See all my reviews

When no one will lend Patty (Patty Duke) ten dollars, she arranges to take care of the spoiled little dog "Pierre" owned by snooty Reta Shaw (as Eloise Sutton), a woman Martin (William Schallert) is hoping will re-sign an advertising contract. As you might imagine, the pampered pooch proves to be more difficult that Patty imagined. Moreover, "Pierre" requires Martin to sing lullabies to relieve stress, rubs mother Natalie (Jean Bryon) the wrong way, and has Ross (Paul O'Keefe) doing dog calls. Disappearing frequently during the final season, cousin Cathy isn't budgeted at all for this episode.

***** Patty Leads a Dog's Life (2/9/66) Bruce Bilson ~ Patty Duke, William Schallert, Reta Shaw, Jean Bryon
