Not very imaginatively handled and partly lumbering, but nonetheless quite intriguing portrait of a somewhat likable carny manically obsessed to please the world with his amusement park rides and the likes, even if the necessary money for his gargantuan follies is gained by criminal activity. Of course, it all backfires and the carny's hapless son pays the price.
The documentary needs too much time to get going, but once the disastrous schemes start piling up, one gets drawn into that whole tragic family affair.
