Film Professor Lee Chambers from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada has been holding the annual Make It Short Film Project since 2005. The award-winning educational event offers hundreds of people with no film experience a chance to make a 16mm film. By pairing film students and graduates with a select group of mentoring professionals, the event explore all aspects of production while making a real film that has a real cinema release. Funds raised at the world premiere screening are donated to charity. The film features executive producer support from David Cronenberg.
