  Batman : [thinking]  The resemblance to my friends is uncanny. Like looking into a funhouse mirror... of evil.

  Scarlet Scarab : Enough with the suspense. When do we pencil in the invasion?

  Batman : Bad news. That world is far too dangerous to invade. Everyone there has powers.

  Silver Cyclone : Which would explain Red Hood's futile attempt to seek help there.

  Batman : We need to rethink our plan.

  [throws the Phase Oscillator to Scarlet Scarab] 

  Scarlet Scarab : You're the boss.

  Batman : [thinking]  Something tells me it's not going to be this easy.

  Silver Cyclone : Then since Plan A is not viable, we move on to Plan B.

  Batman : [thinking]  I hate it when I'm right.

  Scarlet Scarab : Plan B? But guys, we can't be serious about using Cyclone's bomb to wipe out their entire planet.

  Blue Bowman : And why not?

  Scarlet Scarab : Because after that, what other crime could possibly taste as sweet?

• Blue Bowman : [holding Batman at point]  End of the line, hero.

  [Scarlet Scarab drops in] 

  Scarlet Scarab : So, Bowman, you prefer your owls roasted or fried?

  [fires at Batman, but he swings to safety] 

  Dyna-Mite : Up there!

  [Blue Bowman fires an explosive arrow, causing the ship monument to explode and a piece of the Owlman costume floats down] 

  Dyna-Mite : Well, Owlman or not, he's a dead duck now.

  Blue Bowman : [seeing Batman's shadow]  Who *is* this guy?

  [Batman knocks them all out] 

  Batman : I'm Batman.

• Blue Bowman : [after Silver Cyclone reveals his betrayal]  You backstabbing-!

  Silver Cyclone : Robot? It's true. I do hate all humans. Whichever world is destroyed, I look forward to an empty planet to call my own.

  [Red Hood throws a red spade into Cyclone's head, destroying it] 

  Red Hood : Who's broken now, Cyclone?

• Blue Bowman : You there? Something's off with Owlman. I wanna know what he's hiding. Stick close.

• Blue Bowman : [raiding a nuclear laboratory]  The heroes aren't coming.

  Scarlet Scarab : Injustice Syndicate represent. Feel free to scream.

• Red Hood : My comrades have been captured, but I have eluded our hated enemies. And now, after one final test of my phase oscillator, I will use a wormhole to find allies on a parallel Earth.

  [opening a breach and throwing a red spade in] 

  Red Hood : Good. It made it to the other side. Dimensional wave is holding steady.

  [hearing something and looking around] 

  Red Hood : Huh? Which is more than I can say for my nerves.

  Owlman : You'd have to be crazy not to be nervous.

  Blue Bowman : With all of us after you.

  Silver Cyclone : Declaration: hand us the phase oscillator, or force will be required.

  Red Hood : Oh, I believe force will definitely be required.

• Blue Bowman : You sure took Hood down easily back there.

  Batman : [posing as Owlman]  Easier than you would have. So, where are we keeping him?

  Blue Bowman : Where do you think? With the other heroes.

  Batman : Of course. I knew that.

  Blue Bowman : Hey, what's up with you? You've been acting strange ever since you came back from your trip.

  Batman : [punching him]  Question me again, and I'll do worse. Do you understand?

  Blue Bowman : Loud and clear, fearless leader.

• Blue Bowman : [Silver Cyclone activates a bomb]  Open the wormhole, Cyclone. Destroy Batman's world.

  Silver Cyclone : Unfortunately, the phase oscillator is no longer in my possession.

  Blue Bowman : Well, then deactivate it before it blows us all to bits.

  Silver Cyclone : Revelation: your concern for all of us is misplaced. The bomb only irradiates organic tissue.

• Batman : There's not a simpler way to do this?

  Silver Cyclone : Declaration: to rid that other Earth's human infestation, my bomb requires our world's sole sample of Promethium-90. Thus the need for our raid on the nuclear laboratory.

  Blue Bowman : What are you worried about anyway, Owlman? It's not like there's anyone to stop us.

  Batman : I'm worried I'm gonna have to pick up your slack like I always do.

  [thinking]
