Quite moving

This is a very well made Russian short film. When it begins, you will no doubt notice that adorable style of stop-motion employed. The main character, while a homeless man in the cold, is quite cute and the look of the film is very striking. Soon, he finds a package and opens it. Inside is a record that magically makes lovely music when he opens it. However, it soon breaks and things look pretty sad for the guy. However, he soon discovers a door--through which more of this glorious music erupts. Then comes the moving twist.

The film caught me by surprise. While it's very cute, it also belies a dark ending. However, this strange juxtaposition is very effective and the film deserves much praise. Good job!
